Everything is ok. As you know at the MTC my P-Day was on Friday, and I left the MTC on Tuesday and our P-Day out on the field is on Mondays, so we didn't get to email home for a bit. I am serving in the Holladay North Stake and the ValleyView Stake. Just to let you guys know I am honored to be serving in President Monson's home ward and where he goes to sacrament meeting. We know where he lives. I haven't seen him yet but I've heard he's around. We don't know if we will get to meet him face to face because he has security around him all the time but I don't know why a pair of Elders would be threatening considering that the prophet himself called us to serve here. But anyway the last couple days have been pretty crazy. We do not have a car at the moment so we have bikes and I bought a really nice bike here. We cover two stakes and have to bike everywhere. The first night we went and visited people in the stake. The second day here we had a visit with a man named Mike. His wife has one year to live because of cancer and he's had issues with the word of wisdom. He's been taught all the lessons so when we visited we just went over the blessings he gets for quitting smoking. He straight out told us he wants to quit smoking and wants to be baptized really badly. He's at his lowest point right now and he told us yesterday he really needs and wants to come to church. We check up on him every other night and he truly is a wonderful person even though he kinda baked himself but we can see the good in him and the desire he has to become clean and turn his life around. We also visited a member who's whole basement is full of Lego's! Its a dream. Sooo story of the week, my companion and I were riding bikes to a Sister's home for dinner ( BTW we are spoiled and have dinner appointments every night except P-Days), when we got there both my tires were flat! from these things called goat heads that are small thorns around here. So we had dinner and this Sister was calling up so many people to see who was free to help patch up the tires. Finally a neighbor of hers came over and took a look at it but they didn't have any patches, so they had to run to the store and get some. But we were running late for a lesson with an investigator! So the member who referred us to this investigator picked us up and we left our bike with the members who were fixing my bike. Well we made it to the lesson and it was awesome, there were like 6 members there at the lesson with the investigator and us so we had some back up Woo Hoo! The lesson went really well but we won't be able to meet with him again because he's moving to California. Speaking of which, you would not believe how many people I have met here who used to live in California. There are 3 Elders in my mission from California, one who only lived like an hour away from us. I met an older couple here that were mission president's in Ventura, and then yesterday we visited a young couple, and the wife used to live in Augora the same time we did! and she knows the Skinner's! Tomorrow I finally get my ipad, and we can actually check and read our emails whenever we have WiFi but we can't answer until P-Days. So feel free to send emails whenever you want and you'll hear from me on P-Days. And yes I did get your packages and emails at the MTC, the packages were awesome and our whole zone had fun with the bouncy balls in the residence halls lol. I miss you guys and hope everything at home is going well, don't worry about me the Lord has been taking good care of us!
