It's 80 degrees down there at night, but up here it's been in the 40-50s?! Yay!! From Thursday evening to Saturday morning we did not see any sun it was cloudy and windy with rain. So that's always fun considering we don't have a car, we can't bike in that weather, and myself nor my companion have winter clothes yet. But this coming week should be a little warmer. I don't really have any funny stories really like last week with all the food. Sunday was the annual primary program also. The chapel was packed and OMG there are so many kids. I'm not used to it yet. It also happens to be the week of the missionary topic in primary so we have visited and shared 3 times in primary. That's always fun because they are squirrels and oh they love us!! On Sunday we attended the First Ward Valley View Stake because we had two less actives who went. But that also happens to be the ward that the Clegg family goes to. They have a less active son we are trying to reactivate, but it's also the family that has the really spazzy and fun daughter that's around 9 or so, named Abby. We were sitting about two rows behind them and Abby was fooling around and she looked behind and saw my companion and I. That's when she started making faces at me and my companion. Her mom was watching her btw, so then I stuck my tongue out at her just a little bit and she did it back but with her whole tongue and her mom swatted her on the head I was dying😂😂. Last night we were also invited to a YM &YW fireside. There were 3 Returned Missionaries and then my companion and I. We all got to speak about missions and stuff so that was fun. And there were also 2 guys who have already received their mission calls. I haven't seen President Monson yet 😭. And I didn't get the package last Monday because Merle and Squirrel (Note: Andrew's funny nickname for Mark and Mikaela....oh the sibling love!) were late to deliver it but I got in on Friday. I'm so stoked with all the candy you sent! I'm stocked up on goodies now so I'm really happy! And I really love the shirt (I sent a classic Corvette Stingray) and the tie (Mint green with CTR print and Tie Tack) you got. I wore the tie on Sunday. Pretty soon I'll already have been away from home for 2 months, and it's flying by. Thank you for showing your love for me by sending packages and by helping me get to the point to where I am now. I couldn't have done it without you or dad. Thank you for being an awesome mother, and for kickin' dad and I in the rear to get things done.
- love your missionary
PS: There's so many Jeeps up here and I'm dying because I want one! Now I know why Mark would say you can get good deals up here.
